Who is Lighthouse IT?

Lighthouse IT is owned by Ron Schepers, who began offering website development and management in 2010. After running an online directory, Ron saw first-hand how many businesses either had no website at all or struggled with poor online visibility — and set out to fix that with professional, affordable web services.

Ron brings extensive IT experience across many disciplines: computer programming, website design and development, network engineering, systems administration, transition management and IT management. That career has spanned both small businesses and major organisations — including the Nelson Marlborough District Health Board and Air New Zealand — so you get enterprise-grade know-how with small-business friendliness.

Lighthouse IT takes on projects of any scale with a flexible approach. Ron genuinely enjoys the creative process of website development and the satisfaction of carrying a project from initial concept all the way through to delivery.
